Under-painting using two different methods: direct (mixed shades already my palette and painting them next to one another) and indirect (in which I layered translucent glazes, building up from dark to light).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has been useful to build an understanding of two different methods of painting and how I can carry over my knowledge of how to build colour and form digitally to the fine art practice of oil or acrylic painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning the paintings from portrait to landscape gave a cute impression of the rabbit as though it was hopping along, which particularly seemed to be the case with the direct painting method, as though there was movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
