Under-painting using two different methods: direct (mixed shades already my palette and painting them next to one another) and indirect (in which I layered translucent glazes, building up from dark to light).

This has been useful to build an understanding of two different methods of painting and how I can carry over my knowledge of how to build colour and form digitally to the fine art practice of oil or acrylic painting.

Turning the paintings from portrait to landscape gave a cute impression of the rabbit as though it was hopping along, which particularly seemed to be the case with the direct painting method, as though there was movement.
